Aztec Ruins National Monument- Aztec, New Mexico

Aztec Ruins National Monument preserves structures and artifacts of Ancestral Pueblo people from the 1100s through 1200s.    The monument was established in 1923, and designated a World Heritage Site in 1937.

Open daily Memorial Day through Labor Day, from 8am to 6pm; the rest of the year the hours are 8am to 5pm.  Closed January 1, Thanksgiving Day, December 25.

Entrance Fee:  $5 is good for up to seven days
